What was your inspiration for writing this book?

So this one was a continuation of a series with IPBS's Children of Chaos multi author series. I had two books, and this is the final of the two. But my original inspiration for it came from the lore for my other worlds and books. I connect all of my story worlds together, and this series with IPBS gave me the perfect idea to show readers more of Oblivion and the worlds outside Alcardia, the main world my independent series occur on. The connection point is Sedra and Oblivion, a character who shows up in my other series as part of the lore and an organization that was behind her experiments. It allowed me to build out Oblivion for further series where they'll play a role as well. I'd have to look back at my notes to recall exactly what the inspiration for Gwen and S's story initially was, but I do remember that Gwen was a particularly insistent character and sort of unfolded much of the story where S started out a sort of reluctant participant. Lol.
